Deep River Community Association

​The Canadian Nuclear Society is an association made up of Canadians and some non-Canadians, who are interested in the past, present, and future of nuclear science and engineering in Canada. The Chalk River branch is dedicated to the exchange of information in the field of applied nuclear science. Its objectives are to foster the development and beneficial utilisation of nuclear science and technology for peaceful uses, to encourage education in, and knowledge about nuclear science and technology, and to enhance the professional and technical capabilities of those involved in nuclear science and technology in the Canadian context.
